Been working on this for a week or so. I quit when the new modeling method was introduced, but then got blazed last night and... Yeah. Tonight I have the same thing planned, and will finish this pack up tonight maybe. If you look in the .zip you can see a peek at once was, and I feel I've improved since then. I also feel like my sights are good, because I actually worked on them for a while, and is what took the longest. While the current practice of modeling them in slab6 is alright I suppose, most of the time they just come out awful. However I may redo them, because currently shooting at targets far out is a bit difficult. May make the post a bit smaller.

But then again that's what the ACOG's are for.

Maybe it's just the weed. But I digress.

In-game

Iron sights
http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee62/QuikSnap360/ex1-1.jpg

I have an Eotech XPS and Aimpoint model planned as well as an ACOG version. If anyone has any requests on accessories to put on the weapon (M203, PEQ, etc) I could just add it to the pack I guess.

AND YES I WILL BE UPDATING THIS THREAD, AS WELL AS THE MODEL AS TIME GOES ON. I will specifically try and address the issues with the _size_ of the rifle. While it looks great in the editor, its just a tinch big in-game.

The front portion of the 552 is miscolored, but because of the shaders Slab6 uses. Is there anyway to get around this? If you notice on the world model of the AR15 the pistol grip had this issue as well.

http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee62/QuikSnap360/eotech.png

Also, I realize the colors are a bit off on the model. I'm not finished yet.

Also stay tuned for my release, three variations of the AR15, with custom semi.png for each one.
