@Master Paradox: of course I understand code. I wasn't implying that simply writing a new line into the configuration file would magically change the whole client. There'd need to be a change to the client as well. However, the client can coded to "read" the config file text as commands and change its behavior based on changes to the config.ini file... that's the whole point of having a configuration file in the first place. Haven't you ever seen a config file for a more developed game?

The fact that looking down affects two-high jumping feels like a bug (although I can see how it would emerge from the code), not something that needs to be on a toggle. I was having huge problems placing 2-high stairs up the side of a building once and it took me a long time to realize it was because of the direction I was looking.

You don't understand coding do you?
It's not just a simple line in the config that has to be added.
People really demand a lot from the creator.

Basically gives people on the bottom of a slope an advantage, especially when the person climbing is trying to retreat. You can't defend yourself as well as before. You can still jump, sure, but it doesn't work very well sometimes, especially when trying to jump over 2 high blocks.

I don't like autoclimb in .52, it was fine in .51, I don't see why Mr. Aksoy had to change it. Now I can't run backwards up a hill while looking down the hill, it's annoying.

Don't you think it would be best for everyone to be on the same level in terms of auto climb? you're going to see an enemy climbing over a hill quickly and you're going to have to jumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjump and by the time you get up, the enemy will be gone.
