I was thinking today instead of having a sniper rifle that can look more into the fog that the addition of binoculars would allow you to look into the fog for another 50 -100 blocks to spot people , tactics, stuff like that. Just an idea so dont say stuff like, "This will make it like COD" I just think this is a better addition to the game than the sniper. We already have a rifle, why do we need a sniper rifle? As long as we can look into the fog a little, that will satisfy me. Thoughts?

Binoculars would obviously let you see farther, but they would also let tag blocks with a color. This color only shows to teammates. Toggle binoculars=B, zoom=scroll wheel, tag=left click, clear tag=right click, change tag color=arrow keys, toggle tags=N. There should be an offset between gun crosshair and binocular crosshair when switching between them to avoid sniping with them.

Good for marking tunnels and other hidden structures. Maybe they could reveal enemies they're aimed at too.
