What everybody should do in these kinds of instances is to just leave the server. Cheaters won't have anybody to cheat against.

ok i just gotta say right now there is about 5 speed hackers on ALoha Uswest speed hackers.. taking intel, griefing... and annoying stuff.. been on about 10 mins no one vote kicking them..

I've been playing on Chrome using 1366x768. I've always been able to get into a game fine, but it cuts off at the top of the screen so that my weapons and tools are shown only about halfway. It's not a big deal to me since it doesn't really affect gameplay that much, but if someone knows how to fix it without changing the Y res back to 600, I'd appreciate your help.

I'm having this problem, but I'm running in Wine so I don't even use a browser. I pass the server address in through the command line and get the following errors:

I've tried adjusting the resolution to match my monitor, tried 4:3, 16:9, nothing is working. I'd really rather be able to play in Wine than fire up VMWare every time I want to play....

I have uninstalled, Re installed, repaired, you name it, I have tried like I said 3 different browsers, and I have tried both 4:3 and 16:9 ratios.

i can't play on my laptop with 16:9 ratio (laptop is 16:9) :/

Just try different browsers, that worked for me. If it doesn't work, I have to go with what 1337101 said. Wait for the next update.

Well, it looks like your options are:

(A): Uninstall and reinstall AoS.

(B): Give up on AoS untill the next update.

I'm afraid I have no more adive to offer. I'm stumped.

I have tried like I said, many different resolutions, none of which seem to be working, and I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE, none of which have worked.

I have a big 'ol 1280x800 monitor, myself, and the game works fine on that and any resolution lower than that (although it looks awful if the resolution is wrong). Make sure to set the resolution (in the "config.ini" file) to match your screen, and try different browsers.

I use Chrome, And I've tried different resolutions, Default, my native resolution, Which is less then 1280x1024, I've tried all resolutions to keep the 4:3 aspect ratio too.

Weirdly enough, I have this problem on Mozilla Firefox but not on Chrome. Try different browsers out also if you want.

Try this. Open the config.ini and set xres and yres to a resolution you KNOW your monitor supports and is less than 1280x1024

I keep getting this error, I've been searching for over an hour for fixes. I've NEVER installed cheat engine. There is no .ct in my registry, I have tried compatibility mode on many different versions for both the client and the voxed file, both are on run as administrator as well. I have not changed anything but my name in the config file. I've updated all my drivers, tried un-installing and re-installing, restarting, shutting down, etc. NOTHING has worked.

I'm running windows 7 64bit.

But I don't want to save a lot of lives. Snipers rulez!!!
(Saying that while I am not a sniper, but I love to kill them on a harder way.)

There is no escape from snipers in this game other than tunneling under them. The going left and right thing doesn't work because like you said, our heads are too big. Sprint could save a lot of lives.

That's because the rifle is too precise and our head is too big. I don't want to run faster to make myself harder target for the snipers. The snipers are snipers, nobody can run from them, just escape to cover, and thinking about sneaky counter tactics. And I think its more fun, than just sprinting zig-zag against a sniper and kill him in close combat.

I don't really think we're that fast. As a sniper, we could be moving a lot faster, you're all way too easy to hit.

Ok, but if we add sprint, we have to slow down the default speed of the players. I think we are unnaturally fast.

I'd be alright with a sprint, as long as it only lasted like 10 seconds and had a 20 second cooldown. Or something not too overpowered like that.

so before .51, everyone hated the autoclimb, and i did too. but now, i am loving the autoclimb feature now that it has become smoother! Now that this addition has been added, i personally think that sprint could become appropriate.

Despite my dedicated server having 8 IP addresses, I can't host more than one AoS server without an error. Does anyone know how I can host more than one server, or is that just not possible yet? If not then it should really be fixed.
