Here a pistol I made. The curve can be easily achieved. Plus I made the whole portal which essentially is a big sphere.

Your blocks dont always have to be connected. Adding levels makes it possible.

How did you do it and I made this myself like 20 minutes ago.

You can easily do that in slab6. Look at guns I make for people. A lot of shape.

If you look at a picture of a Fal-FN, the butt of the gun is curved.

^It also lacks a bit of detail. It seems every FN FAL I see is just an average gun model.
