"Five minutes? Wow."

Something like that, yeah. It lasted quite a while. I didn't call it seizure mode for nothing. And this was the first time I experienced it.

"How did you go? Did it drive you insane?"

It was fucking hard to see, very hard to fight with. Everything seemed so clear afterwards.

A suggestion, Beret: The night time is MUCH too black. It should be a nice dark blue/dark purple, not a stark black. Other than that, it's awesome! length of day is server specified, right?

I like it a lot, but it was hard to aim, since I had a sight that was mostly black except for a small red dot in the middle. That and I had a skin where everyone was mostly wearing black.

"Also, has anyone seen disco mode??"

Seizure Mode? The first time it came on for me, it was on for about five minutes. Another time, I was trying to stop a griever from lowering the intel. It was easier to shoot than at night, though.

I'm sure just about everybody has seen the pyspades day/night cycle by now, but for anyone who hasn't I recorded and uploaded a quick video in fraps showing a bit of it in action. See what you think.

Of course, it was only after I uploaded it that I found there were already quite a few daycycle videos up, however I didn't see any others that showed it happening in real time during a firefight, so there you go. Have fun with it.

It would be neat if each team had non-customizable, but slightly unique looks.

IE the greens have brodie helmets while the blues have stahlhelms. Backpacks would be neat just because it'd help the generic soldier look.

I'd personally like to see gasmasks but I see how that could be a problem.

Cerebulon is right.

And on top of that, this is a game that evokes a WW1-like ambiance, with dozens of near-identical grunts locked in trench warfare. As far as context goes, having a uniform standard for the player-character makes sense.

I don't really see the need.
And the camouflage thing is a load of crumbs. The main thing that gives people away is their face, not their uniform. Both look equally grey in the fog, both equally dark in caves at a distance and both equally bright on the surface.
If you really think neon green camouflages well against a earthy green you may have a problem with your sight.

In Ace of Spades I have often found that having all the player look the same causes many problems. First of all, its boring. I would like to have my own identity, and for everyone else to have their own identity, so that players can interact with each other easier. Second, its frustrating. If I keep getting killed by the same camper I want revenge. But often times I can't find him. I have no way of telling who's who unless I kill him. Thirdly, its unfair. The Blues cannot camouflage. I can see them coming a mile away. They have a serious disadvantage. I have found that its usually the Blues that sit in tunnels and dig into the land, and I think this may be why. So I was thinking we should have the option to customize our character outside of the servers.

Head: Brodie Helmet, Stahlhelm Helmet, Bandanna, Hair

Face:Gas mask, Sunglasses, Eyebrows, Eyes, Facial Hair,

Body: Backpack, Cartridge belt, canteen, First Aid Kit, Gas mask, E- Tool, Belt Ammo (wrapped around neck), Radio

I think the creator might have to give the soldiers more pixels but I ultimately think it would be a cool feature. Let me know what you think.
