<description><p>Hey guys,</p>
<p>Iv been thinking alot about the often mentioned idea of adding a side-arm to the game, now Ben has somewhere mentioned he MAY add this in future, i couldn't find the direct quote for you.</p>
<p>So Im going to throw out  a few ideas as to how it could work, and id love for you guys to give me some feedback or add your own ideas.</p>
<p>P.S: Side-arm is a slang term for a handgun/pistol<br />

Basic dynamics - pistol or nades/ pistol and nades<br />

<p>My initial idea with the side-arm goes one of two ways,</p>
<p>1) after choosing 1,2,3 for your main weapon you get a choice of either 2 grenades or a low power sidearm. This option makes you think more tactility about the game. </p>
<p>2) You have grenades as normal and change to the sidearm by pressing a different key, but this takes away the whole tactics idea by making everyone totally versatile which makes gameplay a lil bit more basic, and less risky.</p>

Basic dynamics - The pistol mechanics<br />
------------------------------------------------------------------------</p>
<p>Rounds in magazine: 9-15 (because thats an average amount for a low power sidearm)</p>
<p>Total rounds: 30-40</p>
<p>Accuracy: medium range</p>
<p>Fast: faster then semi</p>
<p>Damage to head: 50</p>
<p>Damage to body: 25</p>
<p>Damage to limbs: 20</p>
<p>It is a last resort, quick draw weapon, for those "OSHIT" moments, or when you run out of ammo.</p>
<p>Also it could mildly help the shotgun users who suddenly find themselves in a wide open area, or the enemy to far away to effectively injure with the shotty.</p>

The Ironsights<br />
-----------------------------------------------------------------------</p>
<p>Typical handgun ironsights, vaugly similar to the semi, but the edge parts at either side are closer together, making it more narrow, as a handgun is narrower then a rifle.</p>

<description><p>its a idea stat list for 3 diffrent guns, a 9mm a 45.cal and a revolver:</p>
<p>gun A:<br />
Range: semi efficent at medium range but efficent at short range<br />
Ammo: 12a or 15b rounds a mag and 48 or 70 maxs<br />
Dmg: 15a or 10b with a cheast shot 8a or 5b to limbs 20a or 15b to the head<br />
"How good it hits": vary good<br />
a is verion 1, b is version 2. a is a bit more dmg but less ammo and b is vice vers<br />
END</p>
<p>gun B<br />
Range: less efficent at medium range but efficent at short rage<br />
Ammo: 7 rounds a mag 35 max<br />
Dmg: 20 to the cheast 15 to the limbs 34 to the head<br />
"How good it hits": not realy good or bad<br />
END</p>
<p>gun D<br />
Range: bad at medium range but good at short<br />
Ammo: 5 in mag 20 max<br />
Dmg: 50 to the cheast 34 to the limbs 100 to the head<br />
"How good it hits": not good<br />

<description><p>Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like every good FPS game needs a medic.</p>
<p>I was thinking that instead of grenades, a medic would have a first aid kit, which heals about 20-30 hitpoints on any team mate. (This would be a little tricky unless medics could see friendly's health.) Then with a right-click, the first aid would work as a defibulator and any dead team mate can be resurrected while their body is still there.</p>
<p>First aid would have to be within 3 (or so) blocks and would carry 20 2 shot clips.<br />
Defibulator would ideally be within 2 blocks and have 5 shots, but that sounds complex. XD</p>
<p>Since there've been a few handgun debates, it seems like it would be nice to give one to the medic, since the medic shouldn't be defenseless, but should be focused on healing and not racking up kills.</p>

<p>I realize there have already been a few medic debates, and that this would be very complex to make. Also, there might need to be encouragement for medics to actually help. (Like alternative scoring...?)<br />

<description><p>I was bored of evryone releasing sniper guns meant for sniping, but how about a sniper gun that was meant for not sniping?<br />
This handgun can snipe with its new ability to actualy see what you are aming at through a small hole and see what is going on around it! I have also made another custom sights mod pack that uses the same method.</p>
