There's no 'installation' required.
Firstly, make sure your map is in the 'vxl' folder in your Ace of Spades directory (e.g. C:/ProgramFiles/Ace Of Spades/vxl/).

Then, run 'server.exe' and when it asks 'Type 'gen' to generate a map or mapname to load a map (exclude .vxl extension)' - do exactly as it says!
Type in the filename of your map (e.g. 'bridgewars.vxl'), and there you have it.
