I find your story hard to believe, mainly because it's close to illegible (decent grammar will get you far in life), but also because this sounds like something somone would say to could undo their reputation and basically get a fresh start.

I don't think the barcode scan idea is too complicated, all you need is the scanner and some simple coding, bam

But I suspect that a fingerprint scanner would be more efficient than that.

Or, what Kaede said, discover the magic of multiple user accounts. I assume you're using a modern OS?

Komrades....just put a password on your account and set it as administor, have only 1 account and log off/shut down when you are down.
Or change your name to something that fits your brother and use another computer, even library computers work fine.

just get a finger print scanner... But those cost like 100$ or sumthin like that

...just make a program that reads a barcode on the back of your hands and automatically changes the player name in the config.ini file.

...just pick a different name and change it back whenever you are done playing.

Make password for your user account on windows. Problem solved.

Or just buy your own computer and bar him from access to it.

unfortunately there's no way for admins to know if it's you or your brother, so if he's causing trouble both of you are most likely going to end up getting banned :(

try different servers, i had this a couple times, and when i tried a different server, i no longer had the problem

After you install the game, make sure not to move the files or else it won't work. They have to stay in the same place.

Don't be impatient and spam.
Try using IE if you don't.

whenever I go to the play screen, I click on the server and nothing happens at all. No messages pop up no errors, just nothing. I reinstalled .49 a million times and still no luck :(

PS, I'm Running Windows XP 32 bit
