Tell us your scary moments here!!

For me, probably when I was 14, camping with my dad in Sequoia National Park, when we decided to go on this 4 mile trail to an observatory or ranger post, I can't remember what it was, but anyway, apparently my dad got tired of hiking so he went back to the car, and apparently he called me, but I didn't hear him.

I was walking for like 45 minutes before I realized he wasn't behind me anymore, so I got really scared. So I was running in the other direction as fast as I could, but the trail wasn't that well-worn, and I was sort of getting lost. I know 4 miles isn't very far, but in the forest, it is. I ended up getting back to the car just fine, but my dad had already called the rangers to look for me.

I know that wasn't very scary, but that's it.
