@Jazz: I repeat: what's OK on the server is the hosts's decision to make.

I've found that build-only servers can actually help the AoS community at large. I've spent some time on that server, and now I've come up with an idea for a war map, and if and when I actually make it it could end up being a fun map for people to play on, so by that point the build-only server will have helped the community as a whole by providing it with a nice map to use.

I also use build-only servers as a nice place to do casual scope-testing, bunker build testing, and other stuff that ties into the war side of my AoS gameplay. I spend way more time on war servers than build-only ones, and I wouldn't be building a gigantic cross on a war server. I might build a nice tower to snipe from, but it'd be a bit more squat than that cross, so it can put up to more abuse.

Or, in short: Don't worry, I'll keep my "pointless" builds out of your war servers. If I'm building on a war server, you can bet it'll be a strategic asset.

So, to comment everything in this thread:

Christians are retarded idiots. Not nearly as bad as muslims though.

That cross is totally useless structure and I have no idea why you built it in AoS and not Minecraft.

Thus I see no point in existence of this thread.

And it shall be closed.

I was expecting something like proper bunker design, that would be:
1. A lot more useful
2. Would at least partially fit thread title
3. Would make a lot better time investment

Anywho. Hitler, most forms of 'Map art' are banned of the server. We like to keep things nice and tidy.
Also, considering your named it Adolg Hitler, I doubt you mean it for religious purposes.

@Hitler: Meh. Not my thing. Get C-C-ComradeFSM's permission if you want to build one. The server just went offline, though, so you'll have to wait a while... he won't be hosting for a week.

If you mean my views on their use as a symbol, then it depends on why the person made it. If you're making it because you're actually a Hindu, then it's not a huge problem with me, although the real final decision is what the server host says.

@Paperbox: Upside-down crosses are actually used in some Christian contexts as well as aholy symbol, so I wouldn't find it particularly offensive.

Since that cross I've built the same cool blacksmith's house twice (the first one ended up in the way, and there was a mistake in the architecture anyways)... didn't get a screenshot, then realized I'd saved the map anyways, so here it is with speical foghack effects thanks to Voxed: http://filesmelt.com/dl/Blacksmith3.png

Yeah, that's an exploit that we didn't expect... fortunately, there's not much someone can do without a godmode that we not only won't, but CAN'T bestow upon them... still, I wish PySpades would let you just use numbers.
