To move classes, you will need to fufil the requirements:<br />
To move from D to C, you must post us a picture of 200 kills.<br />
To move from C to B, you must post us a picture of 350 kills and help recruit 2 people.<br />
To move from B to A, you must post a picture of 550 kills and help recruit 4 people (doesn't count people you recruited from moving from C to B).<br />
To move from A to S, you must post a picture of 600 kills and help recruit 6 people (same rules as before).<br />
To move from S to an Almighty Sub-Leader, you must post a pic of 650 kills and help recruit 8 people (same rules as before)..</p>
<p>You can attain the kills with a sum of pics, e.g: I have one pic which has 500 kills, and another which has 100 kills, by submitting these I can move up.<br />

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:<br />
Hello, and welcome to a preview of my latest map. It's still very much a Work in Progress, but I'd like to see if there are any suggestions for this map.</p>
<p>I've been making "prefabs" on and off (mostly off) for the last few weeks, but today I made some headway with an actual map and I think it looks like it's coming together nicely.</p>
<p>The map is set in some nondescript industrial plant, with blues as police, trying to kill all the terrorists - greens - who have taken over the plant.</p>
<p>Anyway, on to the important part; Pictures!</p>
<p>#1: Blues Spawn<br />

Very much WIP as you can see. Green spawn has yet to be started, and work on the Tank Farm (in middle) has only just started. I still need to start work on each flank as well. Foliage is also yet to be added.</p>
<p>So. there's my current project. I can't churn out map after map like some people because my work-rate is so damn slow, so don't expect this to be completed for at least a week or so - especially since I'm jetting off on holiday on Tuesday.</p>
<p>But for now, any comments? Anything you'd like to see added before things get too advanced? And even if you want to say something like "Looks cool", or "That is fucking shite", then please do so.

<description><p>As I and many people realize the same maps, like hallway, goon heaven and ect, are always being used on servers. I was wondering if maybe aloha and some other big server owners could switch their maps a bit maybe for 2-4 days. Maybe use Harbor/Urban, a Defualt, Faceoff, Assault, and even Omoha Beach, I found these to be great maps and sadly they aren't being hosted anymore. To bring some more life is any1 into bringing these maps back?! If so say whether or not you are and the server! :D

<description><p>Over the last few days I've been working with izzy to bring this game mode to life. After trying many different prototypes, I think we've found the "true" gameplay of this mode with the "Cat's Eye" map running on aloha now. At this point I think it's ready for more public comment.</p>
<p>This is how the game mode works(taken from the wiki page I wrote up):</p>

In this mode the map is "controlled" by placing or removing blocks - so building on new ground is one way to gain territory, but tunneling into enemy territory and destroying their structures can be even better, since it removes control from them at the same time.</p>
<p>Each x/y coordinate controlled goes towards a "sector" score - each grid area is a sector. Controlling more blocks than the opponent wins the sector. Each sector controlled is worth 1 point per tick(of 30 seconds).</p>
<p>Scoring only adds the balance of points: If Green and Blue control equal amounts of area, no points are added. If Green controls 1 more territory it gains 1 point per tick.</p>
<p>CTF gameplay remains active but you can add a high cap limit to discourage it.</p></blockquote>
<p>The Cat's Eye map is designed as a sort of offspring of Pinpoint and Hallway; the big central tower plays a major role in providing sniping positions, while the surrounding area is just high enough to allow trench warfare. I've been surprised to see what people are doing with it :)

<description><p>Here is a small pack of 6 trees 4 sniper hideouts, and one called EMPTY.</p>
<p>The EMPTY one is what I use to start a new morel in Slab6. it is much easier than deleting that stupid default sphere before you start modeling.</p>
<p>For the new mappers out there, here is a fun project to get your feet wet.</p>
<p>Just run Aos on your own server, or on your favorite server...<br />
Press F1 to save map file.<br />
Open map file in voxxed, place the cursor where you want it, and press U, and load whatever prefab you want.<br />
then press ALT-f3 and save your map!<br />
That is it! now just package it and give to friends, or run it on your own server :)<br />
Read the Voxxel help file for more info on placement.</p>
<p>It can be fun, AoS can generate random maps. So all you have to do is generate, log in , and save when you find one that looks cool.<br />
Just adding a few trees and bases can really change the gameplay on a map.</p>
<p>Who knows, with just a few minutes of playing around you might design the next Pinpoint map.</p>

There is also the texturemaker mixer settings! all you have to do is keep everything under 64,64,64 as your terrain, and everything above, is your buildings and stuff.</p>
<p>The 2 maps are the best looking I have so far, I am really trying to pay attention to the layout, and only give as much as needed for gameplay, leaving the rest for the players to build.<br />
Both mas have weak fortresses and starts for sniper towers, all you guys have to do is build and defend your base .</p>
<p>FOR GOODNESS SAKES, please post here if you are serving my maps! i really want to play them, i live in Hawaii, and it seems like there are a few servers really close to me .</p>

Map sizes and player limits - increase?<br />
Doubling the render size - kv6 files dimensions are doubled, allowing more details and smoother weapong/skin models.<br />
Sprinting with shift/tab/B, etc... - short speed boost of walking speed, maybe a bit louder to help enemy find you? Or stay normal to avoid under-ground spawn camping<br />
Screen resolution back to 1024? The game seemed smoother when it was at a higher resolution.<br />
2 Layer scopes - allows us to make 2 scopes per gun, one down sights and one with the barrel lifted, or smooth out the current "zoom" effect we have</p>

<p>@1337101, you should chime in on what you want people to be able to do/not do with your vehicles (which are included in the gen_garage.zip) and maps which includes your vehicles (is it ok for people to modify them / repurpose them etc). For me I don't care, people can do anything they want, but since they're your vehicles it's really up to you. Also, if you have any updates to the vehicles let me know and I'll incorporate them in a new release.</p>

<description><p>I have posted a couple of map generators and sample maps on my website. I hope to update them and release more in the coming weeks.</p>
<p>At this point, I've never playtested the maps, since I can't run a proper server and I don't personally know anyone who runs servers. If somebody does try any of these out, please let me know how they play here or by email.</p>
<p>The two map generators I have right now are:</p>
<p>Skybridge - generates an approximation of the regular AoS map, then a bunch of brightly colored skybridges covering the map, and stairs up to the skybridges. <a href="http://silverspaceship.com/aosmap/skybridge.jpg">[Screenshot]</a></p>
<p>Caves - generates an approximation of the regular AoS map, with asymmetric terrain for green and blue, but puts a giant mountain in the middle of the map and a bunch of "caves" throughout the mountain. (I suspect this may not play well since you'll just never see each other when you're in the middle. But maybe not?)</p>
<p>I have not spent a lot of time refining the color generation for the map. In particular, when you bring up the map screen by pressing 'M', the terrain looks really ugly. I'm not sure what the right way to make it look better is, but hopefully I'll come up with something.</p>

<p>The files ending in "_gen.zip" are Windows executables that generate the maps. If you're concerned about running unknown executables, the files ending in "0.zip" contain a sample map from the generator (which I have tested in a local server myself).</p>
<p>As to the trustiworthiness of these executables: I am an indie game developer who has released multiple free games (as windows exe files), and I am a (former) <a href="http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,4966/">professional game developer</a> as well, so no, I'm not fucking with you.</p>
<p>(I will be posting the source code to the map generators eventually, sooner rather than later, but I'd like to fix the 'M' issue first. I'll also be posting a better file format document.)

<description><p>This may be taboo but I'm going to post this in here as well as support... So I've doubly searched the forums and I was just wondering if there was a custom map directory. If not then that would be an awesome tool for the forums. Sure there are a few collections here and there, but that leaves a lot of smaller maps that go unnoticed for one odd reason or another. Maybe just a post (like this) with as many links as people can find to custom maps with (hopefully) a name and author.

<description><p>I like the maps that emulate real world environments, like Broville (although that is a terrible name). Normandie is also cool, I like the church and the corn fields. </p>
<p>I hope that more mapmakers continue to go in this direction. </p>
<p>It would be cool to see a suburbia map, with rows of one- and two-story houses, convenience stores, movie theaters, libraries, etc. I think it is cool to walk into a pixelated room and say, "oh, this is the kitchen," as I have done on some of the build-only servers. I'm not saying it isn't fun to blow up that kitchen, either, so don't tell me to go back to Minecraft, because I've never played it. </p>
<p>Anyways I prefer these maps over the "hypothetical situation" maps, where there's a narrowing path leading to one side, high walls surrounding a long path...oh yeah and bridge maps are the worst--how can a griefer resist? </p>
<p>I know that some people like these environments, so no dis. Is there any way to combine the two styles?
