Someone ban Defaultplayer, he griefed a nicr base, 2 times, then he used hacks, speedhacks, ect.
It was on the minit server.

Yeah, this is another reason it'd be nice to have sign-up accounts, with a system that only allows a name to be used once. As it is now, some hack-kiddie with his new speedhack could change his name to "1337101" and go around hacking everywhere, until my name was dreaded in any civilized server. Then when I try to get online and play again, I'm confronted by mass hysteria and a votekick. That's no fun.

By explaining things I suppose I could save my reputation here on the forums, where a sign-up IS required, but people would still distrust me in-game, and rightfully so.

My only hope is that my grammar and spelling are a good deal nicer than the average troll's.

Yeah, Like Gregory said, since you can change your name at any time to anything you want, there's currently not really any way to know for sure who is who in game, making this list mostly useless.

I think that this list should be void, since it's simple to just change your name. And if the hackers changed their name to, for example, "Kaede-Chan" And started hacking, then someone would put Kaede-Chans name one the list. Even though the real Kaede-Chan didn't do anything wrong.

I haven't tested this myself, but theoretically this should work.

The server admin attaches the memory editor to server.exe , and searches for values for score of each individual player. Then they should be able to change them server-side.

heck, i have no mind for names... i agree with the Deuce tho. we seriously need an auto-deuce-kick.
1: we wouldn't get spammed by little kids who don't bother to change their name.
2: we wouldn't get spammed with messages of little kids asking how to change their name and DONT READ THE ****ING README.
3: we'd have less griefers.

True, but it will provide a list of names that do show people who are griefers, so as they are found we will know not to trust them, if they change their name and continue then that name will be soiled and so on...

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but DustMako, Komrade, (HA)Toaster are all just Deuce's pseudonyms. This list isn't going to help anyone, because beating it is as easy as going into your config file and changing your name.

It's a work in progress, of course. After all, the list JUST started. I'll be finding names to add to this as well.

The problem is the hosts don't routinely restart the server, and the games go on for days, accumulating all the damage. Games should not be up for more than 5 hours at most. Indestructible blocks is not the answer. If the people who make the maps are the least bit displeased by the state of their maps after DAYS of combat then maybe they need to fucking reset them.

I approve of the idea, but it must be for certain maps... Urban warfare maps today are a little too unfit to be indestructible. The buildings are giant and really the map is just a green field with giant gray blocks with holes in them usually. If someone took the time to make a really intricate urban warfare map, like something from CoD or Crysis 2 then that map would be fit to be indestructible because there is a lot going on in condensed areas. But, still, it must be a server decision. Aforementioned maps could work indestructible, or destructible/buildable.
