How is a lower rate of fire an upgrade?

1.) Remove the rifle's cone of fire. That would completely remove the need (and hopefully the want) for a sniper rifle.

A.) Have it as a secondary weapon (if it gets implemented as a primary, shotgun users are going to be getting slaughtered by SMG and rifle users 9 times out of 10).
B.) If it it set as a primary weapon, allow its users to choose between buckshot and slug ammunition (press "." to choose your weapon, once that is done, another selection will come up offering the choice between buckshot and slug ammunition).

i think the mg would be the best. Plus why do we need a sniper? We have one already. its called the reskined semi. with a scope instead of iron sights

Exactly my thought, I voted for the melee weapon because then people might actually try and sneak round instead of just staying in a crappy 2 x 6 house they made. Sadly even if you put up this thread it won't make a difference. If the majority of people want to have a sniper rifle and camp then that is what will happen.

Mother of gawd. Just because everyone votes for something, DOESN'T mean it's going to be implemented. He justs wants to see what the players like or dislike and that will help him make his decision.

a while ago Ben started a poll about a new weapon. But now the sniper rifle is the top voted weapon. So I decited to start a project: the "TOGETHER AGAINST THE SNIPER RIFLE!!!" project.

If Ben adds a sniper rifle all the campers would sit in their little bunkers/towers with the new snipe and headshot everybody, like a pussy. Because I think the with new snipe you would be able to zoom in. And then you got really no chance against that campers.
And the semi really does the job. So he should really implement a pistol, MG, shotgun or something like that but NO SNIPER RIFLE! Because camping around and headshot everybody nearby would totaly ruin AoS.

All guys who agree should post a command with: YES, I'm against the sniper rifle!
Maybe we can something if we are enough.

Oh also, I played AoS before Minecraft. Minecraft is very good in singleplayer but multiplayer is just bunch of retarded assholes that just say "DONATE FOR FLYMOD" and shit.

I think, ze servers needs to make their own maps like in TF2. It will make minecraft builder kids GTFO and play instead of building. Oh also there should be option for disabled pickaxe/shovel/brick just in case

Actually, I found blue team to have more minecrafty builders than green team...
While green team build out of necessity which makes their structure mostly useful, blue builders always seems to be fancier and like to spend hours on a project, most of the time, useless that will just attract griefers.

(I do not mean to offend anyone: I am more often on the blue team and I got to know this game through minecraft)

And minecraft players are not all fancy builders as much as I know (I am one and hardly build anything in this game), so I think you do not have to worry about unbalanced teams.

@Lolnabz Being colorblind is having difficulty distinguishing colors, not mistaking something for something completely different. I know because I actually am a colorblind person.
