I have made a Linux client in python.
Technically it isn't a client, but it makes it MUCH easier.

I made this because I(and others) have to manually type in the ip that we get from the website.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have AoS installed using wine.
2. Have python 2.7(not higher, not lower)

WHAT IT DOES:
1. It lists all the servers with: Players, Ping and name
2. It takes input for which server(the number)
3. It runs the terminal command to join that server.

HOW TO SET IT UP:
1. Download it(end of post)
2. Place it in your AoS folder.
3. Either double click it and say: Run in terminal or cd to your AoS directory and type ./client (it will take a few seconds to retrieve the servers)
4. Find the server you want to join.
5. Type in the number next to it(first number on the line)
6. Press Enter and wait for wine to start it!

EXAMPLE
This is an example to show what to do:
1. 2/8 45 Random
2. 5/25 200 Qwerty
Server: 1

It lists the servers(random and qwerty). Then I type in 1 the server number for Random and press enter.

BUGS:
It is still in beta 0.1 and sometime will glitch when getting the servers, this normally occurs when there is a fake server or server is set up weirdly.

Just an idea for a psyspades script that I thought up,wouldn't it be cool to have a storm script fror certain maps? The default sky color would be a dark gray as if a storm was going on,and at random intervals of every 5-10 seconds the sky would flash white for half a second and a thunder sound clip would play.During this a whole time a rain sound clip would also be playing,although without graphics to go with it i'm not sure how the effect would be. Now I don't know any python,so I couldn't program this,but I think it would be a great addition and would be a lot of fun to play with.

So since my server is laggy(im using a netbook) I was hoping someone would do this.
First off you don't need to know the programming language to do this.
1. download python and eclipse

2. open python using eclipse
3.click file then open file and open the airstrike script in your pyspades scripts
4.once its open scroll down to the bottom and find where it says "airstrike_min_score_req = 15
airstrike_streak_req = 6" and change it to 1 and 3
5. host pyspades server like normal.

i know this is a horrible tutorial. i hope you guys can understand it lol
also if you know the python language you can obviously do so much more but this is easy for people who dont and it makes the game more intresting. i hope more people do this and my server for alil bit. thanks for reading
