This has been bugging me forever. I do not know what the other options for the configuration is, besides name and the x- and y-resolutions. Could someone help?

I've just got 1280 x 800 on the crummy laptop I'm using right now... I feel lame now with all these big numbers for screen sizes flying around.

tried changing the windows resolution to various things, and adding equal signs in the .ini to make it normal for the heck of it. neither worked. Are you running 32 or 64 bit?

Well, I don't exactly have access to a monitor with a display higher then 1920x1080. However what you're insinuating is actually what I was thinking as well. Mabye it's something Ben did, not sure.

I doubt that's the problem. I have run all sorts of stuff from source games to widescreen-hacked 2d games native res.

Not to doubt a mod, but are you sure 1680x1050 is static limit? it almost seems like for 1920x1080 native, the game maxes out at 1680x1050, and for 1680x1050 the game maxes out at 1280x1024. That doesn't make much sense at all, but that seems to match the evidence.

EDIT: and totally random, how does one change one's forum avatar?

arg! cut and pasted that in exactly, and still got 1280x1024 (4:3).
tried 1920x1080 for the heck of it, and still got 1280x1024 (4:3).

What are your config ini settings exactly? Is that true 16:10 1680x1050 or Black-boxed 4:3?

No the maximum resolution is 1680x1050. That's what mine runs and my display is at 1920x1080.

I have a natively 1680x1050 display. I understand that Ace of spades only works for 4:3 aspect ratios, but when I try 1680x1050, or 1400x1050 (the 4:3 equivalent), the game instead runs 1280x1024. Is this the maximum resolution or something?
