It's pretty accurate, a sniper style sight that would be best for rifle lovers.
The grey is transparent.

I made two red dot 'scopes'. Honestly, they don't blend well with the game's artistic style, but they did drastically improve my accuracy.
I recommend using Death1042's FAL or AK47u gun skins with these my red dot sights.

I'm doing Sight, scopes and ironsights, and player skins (I haven't seen a player skin request thread in aaaaagggeeeessss).

I really like doing this, it's pretty awesome.

If anyone has ever played monster hunter, then they might realise that the sight looks like the bowgun sight. I decided to base it on the bowgun because the bowgun sight is pretty awesome looking (although there's never any need to snipe in MH).

Unlike others I've seen this is a more modern crossbow with a scope. I made the crossbow from the original file, the same for the tracer arrow. I did however get the sight from one of JukelProNab's guns. The download also includes a sound effect for shooting but, not reloading. If you find a reload sound please post it here.
Also I will be finishing a "Legend of Zelda" mod pack soon, I just need a sight for the gun so be sure to look for that, it will be posted in the maps & mods section.

well i was just on a server and I was suprised at how shit I was.
Ok, I WAS using the SMG for a while but when I switched back to the rifle... and I was still shit.
Well the majority of that reason was probably that stupid cone, but I'd say that I need a new sight.
For some reason with me sights are like the weapons in minecraft, there good but they start to lose thier strength, eventually becoming nothing, so I end up needing a new one.
so basicly I need a good sight. I wish this game had some sort of practice mode though but the topic isn't about that.
