Hey guys, this might sound noobish but I've tried before and I can't find where my screenshots save. Do I need an application? Or is it hidden somewhere deep in my hard drive? If you could help me out that'd be great!

set your resolution to 800x600 heres how:

1. go to aceofspades folder (if you don't know where its probably in ''my computer, go in C: then program files, then you should be able to see ace of spades, open it)

2. open config

3. where it says ''xres'' change it to 800, where it says ''yres'' change it to 600.

if that doesn't work, (it worked for me) you should keep messing with the resolution. (if you want the default one, just re-install the game)

Make a new folder and then add an exception to Norton so that it won't scan it.
Download mod there.
Install.
???
Profit.

This happened because you chose the wrong choice when norton asked if you want to run it.

uninstall norton.. install nod32 add exception for aos folder :D

1) go to you start menu
2) click on run and then type cmd
3) once in type ipconfig
4) then get your defualt gateway ip adress
5)go into your internet exporer and type in your default gateway ip addres
6) it will ask for username and passwor dby defualt username is amdin and password is just the owrd password.
7) once your in go to your port forwarding make the external port 32887 and the internal port 32887
8) for protocal set it to UDP
9) go back to you ipconfig in your command window and get your ip address then type that in to the end of the 192.168.1.1_____ in your port forwarding menu
10) thats it then go to the ace of spades server app and generate a map and select how many players and what its called i think i got it righ thope that helped

No luck with that here. It's probably worth considering that something was added in .36 that makes AoS unfriendly with my connection - I'm on a university network, so it sounds like it could be related to that.

Download the installation setup a second time, run it, select “Repair Files”.

I had this issue after updating to 042, and UNINSTALLED (Someone said it somewhere) reinstalled both that and the hotfix and now it plays.

YOU NEED TO REINSTALL IT!

Not so sure myself. I've had this issue since .36.

I think that maybe it's just an old server or something. I got the same problem, too.
EDIT: I reinstalled. I don't know if that'll work for you. I got some window that asked me what I wanted to do; it said
Modify Files
Repair Files (I picked this one)
Remove Files
I just repaired the glitchy files and now the game works fine for me.

I get this issue sometimes when trying to get on my own server. resetting the server fixes the problem so the issue is probably serverside.

No luck there. Just tried a CCleaner uninstall + .42 reinstall.

I've been having this problem since .36

Map Download bar fills, nothing happens for 8-10 seconds, then it exits to desktop. No messages.

Edit: Just tried alt-tabbing while it was frozen - "Version mismatch or map transfer fail."

For me it loads in like 5-10 seconds 100% then it goes black screen for like 5 seconds then without an error message it just takes me back to the servers if anyone comes up with a(n) soloution please tell me.

For Me, when I am on downloading map screen, it downloads 100%, then I wait for like 10 seconds and I get error saying: "Couldn't get IP adress!" or something like that if I remember.

this happened to me on almost all the servers but I eventually got into one.
