After some playing my opinion is that best maps are flat, low above bedrock with water here and there, and symmetrical. So heres my dreamed map:

red circles: 5-10 ground height, optionally some soviet-like buildings and few trees

orange circles: 0-5 ground height, 50/50 swampy water and small islands, optionally bunker or small tower here and there and some trees

outside circles: mostly water

optionally single bridge in the middle of map from one base to another, 6 wide (4 road + 2 one-block-high-barriers), 2 thick(+barrier), with two 2x2 columns every 15 blocks

I love the idea of towers and bridges...

I've been messing around with the editor a bit, it's not very easy to use but it's fun.

Would someone consider making a map of a real battles of WWII or WWI? I mean like Battle of the Westerplatte, Normandy invasion, Stalingrad, Battle of Ypres or Battle of Tannenberg. Those would be great and I'd return to server with such map very often.

I've been playing around in my head with the idea of a Western-themed map. Canyons and cacti. Cowboys (with ten-gallon hats) instead of soldiers. A Winchester repeating rifle or maybe a six-shooter (ten-shooter?). A bank bag of money instead of the intel briefcase. You could keep the medical tent. Maybe throw in an Alamo or two. Was playing on a Desert Warfare server that looked like someone had used cavegen with and it certainly fit the theme well-enough. I'd suggest cowboys versus indians but it doesn't really work with the way the player models are set up currently.

But I honestly don't know if I have the time to really do it justice so if someone wants to take my idea and run with it then, by all means, be my guest.

im better than some people and worse than others, but im good enough to get the job done, plus i have my own server that i use for testing purposes when its empty

I want to see a city of bridges, very high up, water at the base of the towers, bridges of different heights connect to towers of different heights etc

Give me a map were you jump out of an exploding helicopter and free fall down onto a falling car, you open the door and start it up and it transforms into a fighter jet, and as you do a roll you see all the enemy's are raptor bears and they shoot laser missles at you. Make that and i will give you all of my money!
