<description><p>I love playing AoS as front-liner, building bunkers, tunneling forwards only to pop up and build another, taking potshots at the enemy all the time. I also love the thrill of realizing that you're about to be overrun and racing for the nearest trench to retreat.</p>
<p>   Before version 0.49 this was all happening seamlessly, now, however, there is an issue that breaks that feeling of immersion I enjoyed: getting into trenches is a nightmare.</p>
<p>   I charge for cover, and then glide straight over the trench, or clip the edge and then spontaneously fly 2 blocks into the air as if I just jumped. I know this must be some sort of issue with the auto-climbing works in the game at the moment, but it completely voids any fast movement between low-height cover. At the moment I'm trying to compensate for the auto-climb by sort of strafe-jumping into the trenches quake-style, but if I mess up the angle even slightly I pop back out and get sniped feeling like an idiot.</p>
<p>   So I'd like to ask everyone two questions:</p>
<p>1: Is anyone else feeling like the difficulty of taking cover in 1-block wide trenches just went through the roof, or am I just terrible at AoS :p.</p>
<p>and 2nd: If you agree, what are some of the ways you've been getting around the problem? There's not much we can do about it until the auto-climb/models (I'm assuming auto-climb is the issue) are sorted out, so any help figuring out ninja-jumping techniques to be super-special-awesome trench hoppers would be greatly appreciated :)
