<description><p>The only thing I see this accomplishing is stopping early rushes, which I don't see as a problem.<br />
I enjoy having to build fortifications as soon as possible in case they come early, it gives a sense of urgency to the game.

<description><p>I was gonna post about a new structure for the game.</p>
<p>First 3-5 minutes you cannot leave your half of the map. This is for basic structure building.<br />
After this initial period is over, you can do what you would normally do (building or attacking, etc.).<br />
Rounds end after one team gets 3 intel captures.<br />
Next round, the map is wiped clean and you switch sides.<br />
The team to win 2 rounds out of a potential 3 wins the match.

You think of a tactic then give it a try, using the environment to cover your approach, if somebody has thought of what you're going to do before you have and has positioned themselves accordingly, then you get shot. No flag. </p>
<p>Let me rephrase. Do you think this CTF game would be more fun, or less fun, if there were alternating build rounds and assault rounds? Why, why not? Discuss.

<description><p>Hey all, managed to get a few solid experiences in with the game after spending time in broke ass server purgatory. The last game I played was on a server with only 1 other guy so basically alot of building happened before disconnecting and it got me thinking.</p>
<p>The appeal of the game for me really is how the building aspect affects strategy and tactics for the manshoots. They're kind of mashed all up together at the moment some dudes wanna build, some dudes wanna shoot and other doods wanna grief.</p>
<p>So I was thinking that maybe a good game mode to get the real shit happening would be a turn based build/shoot mode. Or Create/Destroy. Lets say 5 minutes or so of build only followd by 5 minutes of shoot only.</p>
<p>There would probably be problems with a mode as simple as this, sure, but maybe they could be hammered out?</p>
<p>Waddya reckon? As an optional server side thing?
