Same problem, but switching isp's won't work for me now, because no matter the ISP, the gov officials who monitor the internet in my country block the page no matter what I do.
No, I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Sorry, I was nodding off. I'm not exactly sure of the cause of this (for you), as it appears to be working perfectly fine for everyone else. One last thing I might suggest uninstall ace of spades (again), and verify that all of the files (especially client.exe) are deleted. Then reinstall. Best of luck, I need to get some sleep now.

(better to eliminate possible factors) Have you experienced this problem in the previous version? If so, have you tried clearing your internet cache? (no reason not to try)

Remember to uninstall the previous version before reinstalling the current version. USe the "Remove" option in the installer.

and you're running v.50 for Ace of Spades correct? As the issue at hand has already been resolved.

If you are running v.50 and you verified that you are (by uninstalling Ace of Spades completely, then reinstalling it), I'm not sure what to say. I've read that installing this copy over the older copy, has some issues or something. Where people had to uninstall Ace of Spades completely then install v.50 to get it to work.

Make sure your fire, router, and isp aren't blocking connections to whatismyip.com

Look I know you guys say that the IP error is fixed but ever since the last two updates it's been downloading the map and immediately after saying it cant retrieve the IP address.... I've looked everywhere for some contact info (atleast) for ben so i could ask for help.... I love this game and i dont want a stupid error to stopping me from playing it.....

please help...
