Anyway... let's try something here.

Go copy the text of the config.ini entirely.

Delete config.ini

Open notepad.

Paste what you just copied.

Change your name to what you want.

Save as config.ini, but not as a text file, choose ALL FILES from dropdown list.

Put new config.ini in c:\program files\aceofspades

if THAT doesn't work, you're fucked.

If you can't delete config.ini in the first place, do this:
Try running it as administrator. Remove write-only protection, which can be found by right clicking the file and selecting properties. Uncheck said box. Click okay.

Also, check the security tab and make sure the windows user has permission to even delete it in the first place. You SHOULD be running as administrator on your own computer.

I need a little help. every time i try to change my name on ace of spades, when I save it says:
Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Ace of Spades\config.ini file.Make sure the path and file name are correct
Please Help!
