I have the exact same problem as "shadowwriter" even after completing the steps,

go to control panel and find unistall a program then unistalla ce of spades then update it

Myself as well, been running through bash through wine and fine up until .51 update

When i try to get in a server it says server timeout: version mismatch or map transfer fail.
HELP PLZ.
