[29, August, 2011] [Update]
I reworked the skin a little, and made it a little less square, these changes are extremely minor and will probably be unnoticeable, I'm also thinking of remaking the sights for this gun, provided that enough people actually want that. I consider this gun skin to be mediocre in comparison to my upcoming Gun skins.

You take a screen shot while in slab6 then paste the image over the top of the original semi file in a program such as sumopaint or gimp, rub out the original semi all but the red dot out with the eraser! if you didn't understand this feel free to ask again :)

I have never played warhammer, but this gun looks pretty good. I also noticed that you and me make iron sights the same, for my Halo assault rifle I did the same kind of thing.

I'm downloading your gun right now.

As stated along side all of my gun skins i try my best to achieve historical accuracy, however with this skin i thought to myself "TO HELL WITH THAT!" So here she is the Warhammer 40k Imperial Army Lasgun! I'm not really a fan of the Warhammer 40k universe at all so please point out any inaccuracies :)

You'll find that the iron sights on this gun are very much accurate, wanna know my super secret hint for making ironsights? Goddamn Simplicity! :)

Lasgun Full Package; skins, sights and sounds: http://www.mediafire.com/?7lqyjcn7op7ez2q
I modeled the gun after this picture: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/5/5d/Lasgun.jpg
Slab6: http://tinypic.com/r/aadpmo/7
First Person: http://tinypic.com/r/2zi253r/7
Iron Sights: http://tinypic.com/r/r874n8/7

Expect to be seeing a scoped version! As well as new ironsights, all in the next week.

My other mods
FG42: http://ace-spades.com/forums/topic.php?id=1478
Type 99 Arisaka: http://ace-spades.com/forums/topic.php?id=1509

Peace!................. Willis
