<description><p>well... to explain my process....<br />
Ive been taking 3ds images, converting them with poly2vox, and importing them into Voxel....<br />
From there im a little confused...<br />
I want to be able to load a blank template map (into voxel i assume) and from there, place the .vox objects on it, before saving it as .vxl

<description><p>That's because of the AoS lighting. It treats everything on the top as superbright and then blocks directly beneath it get darker and darker. Also fag makes it look a little more gloomy and dark.</p>
<p>Edit: Oh, I reread your post. Idk really, but maps tend to look darker in a server than in the vox editor.

<description><p>So im still running into one issue... i have the model that i wanted, placed in a map... saved it...</p>
<p>now when i run a server and join up, the map looks nothing like what i saved... more like a black map with a wierd reddish bar at the top(maybe something in conversion got messed up) and when i get close enough to see it render on screen, i crash.
