If the ping is really high, chances are your computer or connection is simply too weak to host a server.

To enter your own server, click the Localhost connect link under the server list.

Okay so I can host a server now but the Ping IS EXTREMELY HIGH!!!!!

Go read the wiki. There is a page with server Hosting in it.

Give it a read, it will fix your problem.

Okay I port forwarded,and set up my server and everything goes good but when I try to join my server it says "mis-configured or full" you know the usual. but then other people still join. ALSO IF YOU DONT MIND ANSWERING my ping is always really high. Thanks again!
