Server bot could ban for vulgar language, join a server with server bot :)))

I do think that there should be an optional censor feature for servers... something that could be checked or unchecked by the server operators. That way, people can set up "kid-friendly" server if they want to, but people who like their $#@%ing language can use it on other servers.

Of course, it needn't be made by Ben. Look at the independent Serverbot and PySpades programs that have been developed. If it becomes a serious issue, I'm sure the Serverbot or PySpades programs could be modified to remove swearing from text, or replace it with some harmless asterisks.

I definitely don't want a full-on, all-servers censor, though... it would end up like Need for Speed World, where you can't even say "Bitte," the German word for "Please," without it being replaced with "*****." That's lame. I'm willing to put up with other people's language if it ensures that I don't need to worry about pointless and stupid censor properties.

There is a lot of swearing in the Call of Duty games too.

:L sorry but i think it is something that people should be allowed to do, regardless of the players ages, if you take a look at the games such as COD with 16/18 ratings there are litterally thousands if not millions of underage kids playing them.. so blood guts and gore are fine but swearing is not. :/

p.s. i know theres a lot of swearing on cod mp.

I know, alot of you don't care about this or maybe you even support it but, is the any way to implement a censor to the chat log? You could make it so we can turn it on or off in the config file (which would be convient) or even better turn it on or off in-game. This is only a suggestion for the younger players out there who have parents monitoring their every move.. ehhem. Anyway, for the sake of people who don't want to hear vulgar language this could be a great addition to the game and could also introduce many new users.
