also if you alt tab while crouching you remain crouching when you return until you hit ctrl again.

Its a glitch of some kind, i cant remember the exact reason but it is a glitch.

And the reason people lose health when alt tabbing is because of a glitch, when you lag to much (such is the case when you tab) you fall through the map (if it is one tiled) or rapidly shake around if it is multi-tiled below you, creating the sense of falling.

Yeah, does anyone else lose health when alt-tabbing? Whenever I alt-tab I seem to lose a bit of health when I'm back (and I'm sure it's not due to being shot, I tried it alone on my own server)

Yeah and a less glitchy alt+tab wouldn't hurt either.
