<description><p>Multiple gamemodes could be fun.  The current CTF mode is fun, but I can also see a territory-capture gamemode being a complete blast.  I'm not sure how I feel about a deathmatch gamemode (believe it or not, combat isn't about killing lots of people.  It's about gaining and holding territory, or capturing a specific item, building, or person, or disrupting enemy shipments or bases.  Most, if not all, military commanders would be perfectly happy to win a battle without anyone, friend or foe, getting killed), but overall the idea of multiple gamemodes (or even multiple ways to win in a single gamemode, provided the difficulty of the different methods is balanced) is great.

<description><p>I'm sorry, but when you know the 4Chan meaning of CP, you just can't take this thread seriously. There are some real gems if you read back through with that meaning in mind.</p>
<p>But yes, the idea is a good one, however I think that the only places you can get resupplied from is the home base. This means the points will change hands more often, creating a more fluid match.

<p>thats two people if theres a full game of 32. likewise if they expand it to 64 or whatever he wanted it to eventually, thats still only 4 players. </p>

<description><p>It's a good idea for a conquest/domination mode, but you will NEVER get 1/8th of a team to co-operate to that extent. Often you'd be lucky to get 4 players working together at once. Just let a single soldier cap the neutral CPs by walking through it.</p>
<p>While we're at it, the CPs should go back to giving you 4 grenades. That was often the only reason going all the way back to where they were was worthwhile.

<description><p>We all know about the CP.  gives you ammo and health, located too far back to be usefull.  More of a feature that the game mechanic it should be.</p>

<p>Mutiple CPs around the map.  About 4.  The almost useless ones at base, but neutral ones in the middle.!</p>
<p>---G---Green Start<br />
N----N-Two neutrals<br />
---B---Blue Start</p>
<p>Now this could be jacked into the norm gamemode, or a completely different one.<br />
You capture a CP by having one eighth of your team in the immediate vicinity of the neutral/occupied CPs  (occupied CPs have to be neutralized first)<br />
You could pick any captured CP as a spawn, and re-arm and heal at it.<br />
No spawning without CPs<br />
Starting CPs (home bases) take 1/4 of the team to cap instead of 1/8<br />
Destroying the enemy team while they have no control points=instant win</p>
<p>So guys, mentally retarded or just needs tweaking?
