It's the exact same sound as the minecraft skeleton archers make with their bows.
It goes perfectly with the crossbow in my opinion.

It's on the unofficial community site, the one Lexsym owns.

Edit: nevermind about the link not working. And the reload now sounds perfect.

Wow that looks pretty damn good, better than the one I'm currently using. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like. May keep the firing sound I already have because I love it.

I love crossbows. Thank you.

Edit: Definitely keeping my firing sound, but the reload sound is amazing. Will also be keeping the tracer I already have, as it's actually an arrow/bolt.

Suggestion for reload sound to make it even better: Add a couple clicks or something to make the sound last longer. It ends too fast and there's no sound playing for a couple seconds while you've got no weapon available to use.

made a crossbow similar to that in Half-Life, made a simple scope and also changed semi and reload to make it sound like a crossbow
