People cheating bug me but not as much as griefers. If you're hacking to stop griefers or make the map more interesting then more power to ya.

I have no problem with people cheating on vanilla servers if they don't use it to kill people or gain any unfair advantage.

In one of the very first servers I joined when I started, there was someone called something along the lines of "Cave Digger", and though he had invincibility hacks, he was true to his name and just dug a shitload of caves. This really improved the server as exploring and fighting in the caves was really fun.

Most of the people in the server appreciated his efforts, especially since he wouldn't kill or capture intel. People using hacks in such a way are fine by me.

I mostly agree with Lexsym, but honestly pinpoint doesn't really support normal gameplay and if I saw speedhackers there it wouldn't bug me

I've never once seen a griefer go anywhere near the enemy intel. I think they're allergic.

They aren't griefers if they're enemies.

Blue destroying green's stuff, or green destroying blue's stuff, is legitimate gameplay. The fort puts their attacks at a disadvantage, so they remove their handicap by levelling the fort.

When people start destroying their own team's stuff, THEN it's griefing.

the map i play with is just flat.. and green is the one who always built fort.. griefers from blue comes everyday few mins to destroy it..quiet annoying...

Speed hacking is for faggots

I wouldn't mind speedhackers on build-only servers, who're just using the hack to build, except for the fact that they can lag up a server something awful and generally screw with everyone elses's fun.

Speedhacking on a versus server is always wrong. Even if you are just tunneling, building, and reparing with it, your faster tunneling and building gives your team an advantage unfairly. Play with a vanilla client, please... it makes for a better gaming experience for everyone involved when you don't hack.

My experience with cheating is this: Cheating is Cheating. Cheating for good, is still cheating.

i may be hacking but im repairing the stuff people grief..... if im doing speed hack i wont do anything of intel taking, or even using a gun to shoot people..

I didn't say anything about griefing being fun. I just said that I'd rather have some guy griefing stuff, which happens to be preventable. Then some guy hacking which isn't.

maybe for you griefing bunker from your own teammate seems fun, but for most players they hate things getting griefed.. i help both blue and green team..unless is the enemy who destroy it i can't do anything because killing them with hack is unfair.

But, It's still hacking. I'd rather have someone grief my bunker than someone speed hacking.

ya totally...... banning me for using speed hack to do somethin GOOD that prevents griefers from griefing... you want proof? go ask some people on PinPoint such as cupcake,malork,token,and gangage? (cant type the name sorry...)

cause me and some people on the server was booored.. and i decide to run in circles with intel.. it was fun.. i returned the intel back to where it was after i was done so nothing bad :P

no one really takes intel on that server anyway

Why do you have a speed hack in the first place?

If you feel like speed hacking, and your not a dick like other people why not try using speed hack to repair walls or forts that griefers decide to grief?

i did that today at PinPoint map, there is a famous griefer... Chap and his deuce friends decide to nade the fort and guess wut... my speed hacking repair speed beats them xDDD
and i think they /ragequit...

who knows that speed hacking can be a good thing if you do something good

i might seem like im a mini admin on "pinpoint" but i go on there everyday.. almots everyone knows.. i dont and never grief on that server...
