My laptops worth a lot more than what it costs. I wish I didn't need a laptop for college... I'd build an epic desktop otherwise... sigh. Don't you edit video/photoshop, or no? I kinda figured you did and 4 gb of ram is weak for that stuff.

Upgrading the RAM to 2 4gb sticks of Kingston RAM. I'll probably be buying a laptop cooling pad for this. The laptop has a short battery life of 2 hours but I'll keep it plugged in mostly. I go to college next year, so then I'll upgrade to a 12 cell battery.
