I'm afraid of bugs now, but when I was 10 - 12 I'd go around with my friend and catch poisonous bugs/huge bugs/creepy bugs all the time. I caught a blackwidow, a scorpion, and a centipede(not a house centipede but those red 100 legs tipped with venom centipedes) with my hands and managed to not get bit or stung.

Now if I see a bug that flys clumsily I hit the deck and find the nearest thing I can to smack it out of the air and punch the shit out of it like the fist of the north star.

Cicadas, dragonflies, occasional spiders, butterflies, moths, Jerusalem crickets (potato bugs for those of you who are retarded) and woodlouse/pill bug/rollypollies are fine, but anything else... nope just nope.

The occasional velvet ant are fine too as they aren't very common here and are pretty to look at so I usually keep them in a jar.
