I am thinking this is less possible.
unless:
Set a shortcut to each server you want (hoping the address won't change)
Steam reconizes the client running when this is clicked through the app link.

Otherwise you will be better off using Xfire which reads the process list specifically and can be modified to read what ever you want how ever you want it read.
