No that'd defeat the purpose of playing the game at all. Auto-run is just a convenience so you can run while planning things out with your team, instead of stopping and making yourself an easier target just to talk.

How about an auto-aim so you can kill people while talking?

Well that's why auto-run would be nice. Not just for talking, but when you've got to run in a straight line for awhile. I mean it only makes sense to have now that we have auto-climb.

If the game just let you run while you had the type line open like in many games around 2000-2005 then you'd have it right there. In battlefield I always loved the way I could pick a direction, and start walking, then begin typing while my character just kept running in that direction. Sometimes I'd just hit the chat button to use as a cruise control without actually typing anything. Just hit enter and you're back in control

If we had auto-run we could tape our mouse button down and just constantly run/shoot in the enemy's general direction. So, I support this idea.

No more like just press a button and you walk in whatever direction you're facing until you press the button again.

Remappable to your mouse of course. I'd use mouse4.
