You don't throw grenades down three-block pits. You throw them down two-block pits to make a nice 3x3x3 hole. But yes, agreed they need to bounce less and roll more.

The grenades jump too much, they remind me for Banana Bomb from Worms. It's quite annoying that when you throw a grenade into three-blocks high pit, it jumps back straight into your face. The grenades should make much smaller jumps from blocks.
