could it ever be possible for a server admin (are there admins, anyway?) to see every player on the server, like the guys working in security with all those monitors? :)

i was just making a huge deuce statue in a corner of the map, the guy waited till i was almost finished, and than came and griefed it in 20 seconds. and i wasn't able to kill him for some reason. anyway, votekicking is to slow if you try to save something, be it a useless statues (that some people hate, but i dont see why, as they dont get in the way) or strategic fortifications. and sometimes it gets abused.

so i say power to the admins. even if an admin sometimes unfairly kicks me, it's easier to start the map again than to rebuild anything you were building.

i haven't yet seen a votecast get completed whenever i'm on :D

People get mad when i use the name Jesus and attempt to votekick me for hours on end, not that anyone ever completely votekicked Jesus.

I've seen people who have done nothing but play get votekicked simply from the bandwagon effect... one person starts it, and other people votekick automatically without ever asking a reason. It's out of control.

All we need is to be able to see the name of the person that starts the votekick. Sure, there's a chance of revenge attempts, but I'm willing to take that risk. I want to be able to see the trolls.

a griefer could very well votekick someone who was in their way and claim that the person was griefing. it happened to me

usually these unfair votes are actually coming from griefer patrols themselves, or the people who dislike griefers. All you have to do is say "/y griefer" and that ALWAYS TRUE STORY I DARE YOU TO TRY IT guarantees AT LEAST one more vote. ALWAYS. I guess they're too stupid to analyze the situation more
plus there's a lot of people in the server that don't give a shit, but don't make that my problem or yours.

I guess to answer your question, there should be a new votekicking system where only 3 people have to /y after a votekick is initiated it sure does sound fair and balanced and like it'll never be abused in any way possible

When you press TAB in-game, there should be numbers to the LEFT of your name.

Use those numbers with this command:

/votekick "number"

so how do u votecast?

Well, to be fair, they did show you how it works.

If you don't wanna get votekicked, the best thing you can do is not draw attention to yourself and just play the game. I've seen people get kicked for no reason, and it's usually because they talk too much or ask a legit question that comes off dumb.

Virtually nothing. The system as it stands is flawed, and yes Ben knows this.

Recently the votekick system has been abused by an astonishing amount of people. Before now it was used relatively responsibly, but now its just gotten out of hand. I got on a relatively small server, and when I got griefed I asked how to use the new votekick system, and bam, I got votekicked within a minute of asking. I thought it was just an isolated incident, so I went to one of my favorite servers which I thought was relatively safe, and the exact same thing happen when I asked how to use it. What can we do to fix this.
