I agree, the pickaxe/shovel should be usable in close combat, or there should be a knife or something, or a sidearm like a pistol!
A pistol sidearm would be nice to have :)

Yeah I'd be open to 1 and 3 but not 2. I can't imagine the spade would be any good for meleeing though with how long it takes to animate. Pick would work fine.

There should atleast some way to keep your killing streak going, heres 3 propositions:
1) Either make ammo pack drops on deaths.
2) Unlimited ammo.
3) Make it possible to use the spade/pickaxe for melee combat. This would be damn awesome for assassinations. Close combat fights would get less messy aswell.

ummmmmmm yeah it was always limited

Is the limited ammo a new thing? I never really noticed the limitation untill now atleast on the normal rifle, but it kinda bothers me when you run out of ammo with the smg and gotta run back to your own tent to refill. It's a nuisance because it kills the action phase.
