i probably sound like a noob, but how do i use this?

I wanna play this! Please take this as constructive criticism, but I think your grass color is too bright in Tank Battle and from what I can see of this map. I think it should be more drab.

As far as play-balance goes, the intel doesn't always spawn on the ship. In the playtest I did Blue wound up winning the round, though it took awhile. There's some tense moments when you're crossing the beach as the Green team.

Either way... it came to my attention, about 5 minutes after I posted this, that there is another much more accurately detailed Omaha Beach map out by an unknown author. It has trenches and such. And some beach obstacles with floating blocks that I suspect won't survive the floating block removal pass in-game. C'est la vie. Mine is more abstract. ;-)

The map looks cool, although is decidedly one-sided if the intel spawns on the boat. If Team Deathmatch mode came out, this map looks like it might work nicely.

@Prioch I have another map that's been on the back burner since I started mapping... was the first map I made actually called Sink the Bismark which is fine until I realized it was actually NOT the Bismark but rather the USS New Jersey. So I procured a Bismark model and am in the process of making a map for it...

Sadly I can't try it out currently seeing as I'm not home, but I'll definitely be sure to try it out when I can, look fun.

thats cool, but it looks like the boat is too far from the coast for people to attack it, which is too bad

you did such a great job on it. I would make another map called boatwars, or something, and have a bunch of boats, maybe some submarines that are peaking up. or maybe just put more boats on the shore. nice work, though, make more maps

Hey folks. Once again I found myself with too much time on my hands so I whipped up a little amphibious assault map reminiscent of Omaha Beach. It's far from historically accurate, as has been pointed out to me. I know there weren't tanks hitting the beaches of Normandy but I just wanted something out there for cover. But, still, I think it's fun enough to release now... so enjoy.
