^ ouch. I was gonna get an external drive a couple weeks ago, but I found an extra slot hidden inside my case and went with an internal.

i just host a server with out advertising, connect locally and save the map. every now and then i find a really bad ass GEN map that i like, though. I don't have them any more (external crashed)

np, thats what i use when i feel like hosting normsal gen, i genersted it once and decided to use it :P

If I wanted to make a custom map by placing structures onto a fresh AOS RandomMap, what's the best way to do that?

-Is there an independent map generator that uses AOS's native map generator?
-Do I just wait for a fresh map to be hosted on a server somewhere and press F1?
-Is there somewhere on the forums with a bunch of RandomMaps stockpiled?
