Had this happen to me earlier today- wich brings me to a question: is it possible for this to happen while you are moving? I ask becuase when it happened to me i wasnt standing still- i was walking across a bridge and then BAM im tripping balls

I don't find this a problem. It is possible to escape the block encasement. Take out your pickaxe or shovel and click everywhere until you hear a digging sound. If you hear it, dig that spot until you don't hear the digging sound. Now keep looking for these sounds until the encasement collapses and your free. If you don't care about dying, take out a grenade and cook it until it explodes. If you don't have any grenades, then you should do step 1. No need to leave the server. It isnt a glitch. Its probably intended to be like that. FYI it also happens in minecraft

So what, digging somebody out isn't a bad thing.

HERE'S A TIP: If somebody puts blocks over your head, switch teams! Or blow yourself up! It's seriously not even a big deal.

The block-encasing glitch is also useful against griefers. Having lots of trouble with one person? Can't get them votekicked? Make a large solid block, wait for them to dig into it, and encase them in blocks! Works like a charm.

Of course, sometimes trolls use this trick against legitimate players, but there are ways around that.

It would be nice to idle in my own server without worrying about being flooded with blocks. My server fills up very quickly and there's no way to save myself a spot.

If you're going to go AFK, leave the game. Nobody likes idlers, and you're honestly just a free kill, a block encasement target, and a worthless deuce.

this glitch needs to be fixed asap i had one of my friends go afk for 5 minutes i had to dig him out 3 times because of the idiots

Don't tell me that you guys are the ones who go AFK for like two whole hours per game, leaving your teammates to build over your heads, forcing you to take LSD through the form of 1x1x1 blocks?

it stays glitchy after you destroy the blocks, it just keeps glitching....

There isn't a fix.

First off, stop standing still so people can actually build over your freaking head.

Second, all you need is a shovel.

If you encase a person in blocks in this game, their screen will glitch out and every time the game moves, another layer is added.

It basically makes you blind, even when you destroy the encasing of blocks, you have to kill yourself to undo the glitch. Please fix.
