The hacks can be stopped, the game just has shitty netcode. Why in the world are all the ammo and health values player sided? Anyone who reads the cheat engine tutorial will know how to edit the values and make their own trainer.

Aimbots and esp can never be stopped, but those are real hacks, not some kid with cheat engine. Blame the developer for putting stupid shit client sided.

True but it seems to me that hacking is to easy right now. Because of that and the lack of easy admin options and monitoring tools it is really hard to deal with a hacker on your server.

Just thought about it, would a rollback feature be a good idea? For example when someone sprays the map with color blocks you just turn the map back to just before that?

Hacks will never cease to exist, this has been proved by the hundreds and thousands of other mmo games. Security will always, somehow, be breached; it's only a matter of time and efforts. And preventing that from happening by a single person is merely impossible, aside from the fact that he has to make gameplay updates. Unless he is funded enough for anti-cheat services like HackShield or GameGuard, expect to see hacks from time to time; there will always be people bored enough to create them.

The one thing that I'm sure needs to be fixed is to change all the client-sided instances to server-sided, and I'm sure the author is aware and trying to fix now.

Griefing is lamesauce, everybody knows it. But the real problem is all the hacks. I can handle somebody switching teams and breaking everything, but when they have the hacks they can ruin the map before anybody even knows who the fuck they are.

Whatever anti-hacks code is being written now, it's worth the wait!
