I don't think we need to go as far as getting custom text colors. I'd be writing in orange and bugging the crap out of everybody.
Embedding I somewhat agree with, but it has grounds for abuse.

BBPress is limited by default, but there's a wide array of plugins/features that can be added. More feature will be added as time progresses. We won't be "starting over" with new forums/forum software (although I am a big fan of phpbb).

No offense, but I personally don't seem to like the current Ace-of-spades forums, it lacks many features a normal forum may have, image posting, video embeds, complicated profile pictures, no other member information and a lot that it could have. I know it would be a complete pain to do this, but we should integrate into a new forum system. Like myBB or even freeforums will do.

New forums could help identify members easier, sort posts better, topics, child boards, etc. With a growing community on Ace of Spades. A new forums may be needed.
