I'd like to host from my PC but I can't get a server to work from my computer, because of network gremlins.

Edit: Uh, on second thought I think you're right, Izzy. I'm not gonna get a webhost rack to run "server.exe".

no you need a more dedicated environment that's capable of running executables

why not host from your computer?

Try what you mentioned first and see if that works.

This is a stupid question, but I have space on a web-hosting server and I was wondering if I could use it to host maps? If so, what's the procedure for doing that?

Would it be as simple as uploading the ace of spades directory to my server and running server.exe, or would it be specific to my server?
