So I'm a bit new to C++ and I'm sure some of you have no idea what I'm talking about, but the engine this game is based off of is open source and available at:

I'm just wondering if anybody has managed to compile it or has any insight on some workarounds to directx sdk's lack of backward compatibility when it comes to ddraw.lib
