Her goal was to create an intelligent show for girls that boys and grown-ups could also watch (without wanting to shoot themselves). By all accounts, she has done an admirable job of reaching that goal.

Also, My Little Pony is not a meme. There are memes based off it's characters/canon. Again, I HAVE NEVER WATCHED A SINGLE EPISODE! But facts are facts. KND is awesome too.

I've never watched a single episode, but I guess when people say it's good, many people say it's good, on fairly intelligent parts of the internet, then it probably is good.

There are no mechas and VTOL's made out of scrap, so nothing for me.

2) The characters have in depth personalities, not hollow shell like most tv shows.

3) the story lines are well thought out and inclusive of said characters

And 4) the story lines and character interaction mirror real world social group interactions to a high degree.

The animation is awesome, I can tell by the memeified pictures, and the GIFs only say it is true. That's not enough to get me to actively watch it though. I certainly do feel like I am too old for it.

I don't worry about what the MLP fans are doing though because it's none of my business. They can like whatever the heck they want to like, just like the rest of us can. I don't question it either, I mean... There is a lot scarier things out there...

It's scary to think about telling an adult. You just worsened my fear because you said 'Psychological help'.

I quite frankly find it ridiculous. Imagine telling any adult that you're a fan of My Little Pony... You'd be in for psychological care before you knew it. That goes for both males and females above the age of 10.

MLP only makes up 2% of my likings anyway. The rest of my head is clutter with Mass effect, Halo, dragon stuff, womenz, and lots of video games out there.
