use converth.exe image1.bmp image2.bmp

image1 is just paint, image2 is heightmap (black is water, lighter shades are higher)

also make sure each .bmp is 24-bit 512x512

Yeah, I run as an admin it says the height is an invalid parameter, but if I remove the height, it tells me there needs to be a height.

i do that too, change the name of some bmp' files to Moon so that it works. only problem i ever got was a corrupt .zip file the first time and a messed up map from using a 513x514.

Can you right click and run as admin, in windows seven? i don't remember.

I open the .bat. It goes non-responsive immediately. It crashes.

I'm using the default moon file, but I've tried other files (512x512) and it still doesn't work.

walk us through what happens. I'm running the bitmap converter with great strides.

I'm going to guess its some thing with the bat it tells you to make.

I'm running Windows 7; the Bitmap converter just crashes, period. It doesn't even attempt, my comp's just like "Looking for problems before running line 1 of code, crash because this is too epic for me"
