Never tried using cheat engine in game, plus I've switched computers and ISPs since then, why would that still be a problem? The only reason it was installed then and now is do to my 14 year old brother

I've read through and done what a lot of the other threads have said, but nothing has worked so far.

Uninstall cheat engine? Check
Clean registry vigorously? Check
Reinstall AoS? Check
Repair AoS? Check
Forward ports? Check
Disable firewall? Check
Use different browsers? Check (IE, Firefox, and Chrome)

In regedit it won't let me open the HKEY_CLASSSES_ROOT/aos folder (aos cannot be opened. An error is preventing this key from being opened. Details: Access is denied), even while running regedit as administrator.

I've tried merging Green_Beret's registry file (mime_aos.reg), and all it does is give me another error about accessing the registry. I've even done the file - import thing in regedit, and it still won't work.

I'm running on a laptop with Windows 7, and on the only administrator account.

Help?
