I've recently read a bit of Nietzsche, but that's as I've gone with philosophy so far.

I'd much rather play a game that does gameplay that's been seen before well, rather than a new game that tries a lot of new stuff done poorly. There are always exceptions, though.

^The movies part is a prefect example, I'm sure most of you have heard of "Bollywood," India's movie studio, one of the biggest on earth. Hell, the thing is, every movie has the same concept:
"Guy likes girl and girl likes guy, girl needs to be married to another guy. Parent's don't like the person the girl likes, The other guy does something retarted and the first guy proves to the parents he's good and he gets married."

Any movies that usually doesn't have that concept in India gets rejected more or less.

Personally, I define a "Good job" as something you have a passion for and like doing, if you do get paid a good amount, that's double the win.

It's quite simple, good ideas = money, bad ideas = none. Why risk trying something new and not making money when you could do what has been proven to make money? Same with movies essentially.

As for the the pony thing, I can't help you there.

Why do people consider overused mechanics in new games instead of delve into newer, original, and unique ones?

Why is there the sudden increase in remakes and rip-offs in modern movies?

Why am I pondering these questions when I should be watching YouTube mindlessly?

I have a B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice, and an A.A. in General Studies. I'm going to (hopefully) complete my A.A. in Criminal Justice and Parole Officer Certificate this fall. 3.4 GPA at my Uni, 3.69 at my JC.

Philosophy can be fun as long as you don't have one of those instructors that think everything they say is right and you're 100% wrong.

@ Spengbab You are right, education doesn't make you smart, it's how one uses it. A Phd doesn't necessarily make one arrogant, if I managed to get one I'd show it off... just getting a Bachelor's is a pain in the ass beyond what High School could ever hope to be, I'm proud I have it.

Im somewhat of a Philosophers myself, but I often find most ppl on the forums not worth talking to.

i theorize that pineapples once did walk the earth, as intelligent beings, who after the jurassic era came down from their plants and began to walk and fend for themselves. The greatest achievement was not their invention of fire or the wheel but was eating red meat. From this they began to truly develop their brain and muscles.....wait that's evolution, whats philosophy again? :D
